Harriet "Harry" Wild is a recently retired literature professor who is adjusting to her new life when she's mugged. While recovering at the home of her son, a Dublin police detective, Harry gleans a clue for the case he's working on. But when she's rebuffed, Harry decides to solve the crime herself. This leads her to find a new path in life as a private investigator.
