No Season 4 for the martial arts drama.
December 18, 2023
It is being reported that Max has cancelled Warrior after three seasons. The news comes four months after the martial arts crime drama wrapped its now-final run after a two-and-a-half year break between seasons two and three.
The series debuted in 2019, airing its first two seasons on Cinemax. When the network announced it was getting out of the original programming business, the series was moved to Max for Season 3.
In the wake of today's cancellation comes word that Netflix has picked up the non-exclusive rights to all three seasons. Should it perform well, it is possible that the streamer could order a new season to continue the story.
Based on an original concept by martial arts legend Bruce Lee, Warrior follows Ah Sahm, a young martial arts prodigy in the 1870s who immigrates to San Francisco from China under mysterious circumstances after the Civil War. Once there, he becomes a hatchet man for one of Chinatown's most powerful and feared organized crime families.

I gave up after season 1. It's not like it's not good, but I started to avoid US TV Shows. They always ends on cliff hangers and always get cancelled...

Solid show. Sad sad to see it go. There are still several storylines left opened.

...loooooooooooooooooooooooooooong... hiatuses ruined this show. It was decent.. I watched.. but when it disappears for a year and half.. meh.. difficult to get back into.
I "get" the whole COVID outage and all.. but meh.. thinning of the herd (in terms of tv series).

I canceled max today. I ordered netflix. Same price basically. Everyone should dump max and try something different. Eventually some morons that make these decisions will be fired. Right now these greedy bastards only care about their profits.

My favorite shows are being axed one by one while the reality shows which require one brain cell to watch flourish....
