CBS announced today that Fire Country has been picked up for a third season. The news comes just three episodes into the firefighter drama's sophomore run.

The Friday series premiered in 2022 and has been a solid performer for the network on Friday nights. This season it is averaging 9.21 million viewers in live 7-day multiplatform viewing, up 7% from last year. Its streaming viewership has more than doubled, making it a top six series on Paramount+ and ranked as the #4 drama on the service in the month of February.

In Fire Country, a young convict named Bode Donovan is looking for redemption and a shortened prison sentence, so he joins a firefighting program that brings him back to his small hometown in Northern California where he and other inmates work alongside elite firefighters to extinguish huge blazes across the region.

Look for Season 3 of Fire Country as part of the 2024-2025 season.
