CBS announced today that Fire Country has been picked up for a third season. The news comes just three episodes into the firefighter drama's sophomore run.
The Friday series premiered in 2022 and has been a solid performer for the network on Friday nights. This season it is averaging 9.21 million viewers in live 7-day multiplatform viewing, up 7% from last year. Its streaming viewership has more than doubled, making it a top six series on Paramount+ and ranked as the #4 drama on the service in the month of February.
In Fire Country, a young convict named Bode Donovan is looking for redemption and a shortened prison sentence, so he joins a firefighting program that brings him back to his small hometown in Northern California where he and other inmates work alongside elite firefighters to extinguish huge blazes across the region.
Look for Season 3 of Fire Country as part of the 2024-2025 season.

Wow!! This show is terrible. So many good shows canceled but this wreck gets a 3RD season?

I watched about the first six episodes, but it seemed determined to write itself into a corner. How many fires can you fight each week before everything's burned down? How many twists can you put into someone's past before they start looking like a pretzel?

The story is already starting run in circle. I wasnt expecting this show to get pass S2.

I gave up on this show after two episodes. I don’t know how it can go on for so long. He’s only going to be in jail for so long fighting fires, and after that he can’t be employed as a firefighter when he gets out because he has a criminal record. How can this concept get three seasons?

Although I'm not particularly a fan of FireCountry (I just don't find the show or its characters interesting), congratulations to the cast&crew to the renewal.
"Bode", it looks to be a good move leaving SEAL Team as ST is currently awaiting the last season while you're looking at another season where you're also the primary/leading character.
