Peacock announced today that The Traitors has been renewed for two additional seasons that will take it to at least Season 5. The early double pickup comes just six months after the competition series was renewed for a third season, which will not premiere until early 2025.
The show has been a breakout hit for the streaming service, ranking as its most watched unscripted original series of all time. The first season won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Casting for a Reality Program and it is currently nominated for four Emmys including Outstanding Reality Competition Program, Outstanding Directing for a Reality Series, Outstanding Cinematography for a Reality Series and Alan Cumming was nominated on behalf of the show for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program.
Set around a remote castle in the Scottish Highlands, the psychological competition brings together some of entertainment's most competitive reality stars and famous faces to play the ultimate murder mystery game. The contestants work together on a series of missions to build a prize fund worth up to $250,000. Hidden amongst the Faithful are the Traitors, whose goal is to eliminate the Faithful and claim the prize for themselves. Under the cover of darkness, the Traitors murder one of the Faithful each night, while the Faithful try to uncover the Traitors and banish them from the game. If the Faithful contestants banish all the Traitors, they will share the prize fund, but if a Traitor or Traitors makes it to the end, they will steal all the money.

For what it's worth.. Alan is kind of the worst host when compared to all the others. Not that he's bad, just not as good as the others.
