The sports comedy will return for a second season.

Netflix announced today that Running Point has been renewed for Season 2. The news comes just a week after the comedy released its 10-episode freshman run, which currently ranks in the streamer's Top 10 list in 83 countries.
"We are so thrilled to be able to deliver a Season 2 of Running Point to the fans of the show," said Co-Creator / Executive Producer / Writer Mindy Kaling in a statement. "We still cannot believe the response from audiences - thank you to everyone who has watched! Thank you to our partners at Netflix, Warner Brothers, our star who brought this show to life, Kate Hudson, and of course Executive Producers Jeanie Buss and Linda Rambis, without whom there would be no Running Point."
The half-hour series stars Hudson as Isla Gordon, a woman who is unexpectedly appointed president of the Los Angeles Waves, one of the most storied professional basketball franchises, after a scandal forces her brother to resign. Ambitious but often overlooked, Isla fights to prove to her skeptical brothers, the board, and the larger sports community, that she is the right person for the job.

Shocked but not shocked. I got about halfway thru episode 2 before I shut this one off for good.
