The CW announced today that it has picked up the fourth season of Family Law. The network acquired the Canadian legal drama in 2022 and has aired all three seasons to date, the latest airing in early 2024.
The show follows personal injury lawyer Abigail Bianchi, who is suspended due to a drinking problem and only allowed to practice law again if she finds a senior lawyer willing to take her on during a probationary period. The only person willing to take the risk is her estranged father, who runs the top family law practice in the city. Now Abby has to work for her dad and her half siblings in order to get her life back on track.
Season 4 of Family Law premieres on Wednesday, July 23 at 8:00pm.

Came by this show by accident and very glad I did.Good plot and amusing episodes. Even the re-runs (currently being aired) are still entertaining.

The CW isn't ruining Family Law. All the CW is airing shows from different networks, such as Family Law. Global TV is the one technically airing the show.

@Tim Exactly what I was going to say. Once you head the CW you are done. CW gets rid of the good writers and talented actors and you are left with ... Well, any show on the CW.

Season 1 of this show was excellent but CW picked it up after Season 1 and like everything they touch, they ruined it.

I didn't realize I was waiting for the CW to buy/contract for S4 of Family Law and thought they already owned/had-the-rights-to it and was just awaiting for the CW to fit it into their schedule. Thanks for this news. I started rewatching S1 as I didn't even remember these episodes being so long ago.

Favorite accidental find. I was so bummed when I got to season 3 and that was it. I would love a longer season.. there is still so much story to tell without the show getting stale.
