No Season 4 for the procedural drama.
June 6, 2025
It is being reported that Fox has cancelled Alert: Missing Persons Unit after three seasons. The news comes less than two weeks after the procedural drama aired its season finale, which now serves as its series ender.
The move is not a big surprise, as the show's viewership has dwindled in recent seasons. Its recent ratings rank it as one of the least watched dramas on the main four broadcast networks.
The series follows members of the Philadelphia Police Department's Missing Persons Unit, who investigate life-or-death cases of people who disappear. In Season 1, officer Nikki Batista and her ex-husband also worked to get to the bottom of their long-lost son's disappearance. Once that storyline was resolved, the show focused more on weekly cases.

Caan acted childish like he did on 5-O. Show was poorly written and the acting was worse. In fact, it was unmitigated garbage.

Accused was canceled before ALERT. They take off the shows watched and leave some of the worst shows ever. Mostly reality bs

Love this show so far they have canceled all my favorites, and left the ones that should have been canceled.

I would have liked to have seen how Wayne's heel turn unfolded, but I called it after they killed off Dania Ramirez's character.
And yes women absolutely can be field agents. Approx. 25% of all agents currently in the field are women and they even head some field offices. There have been women in the field since 1972 Google is your friend y'all.

I confused this show with Accused often!
Don't be surprised if Accused gets cancelled too!
