'Elle' Renewed For Season 2 Ahead Of Debut

Prime Video orders more of the prequel comedy.

Prime Video announced today that its upcoming 'Legally Blonde' prequel series Elle has been given an early Season 2 renewal. The news comes months ahead of the show's summer premiere date of July 1, which was also announced today.

"Discovering Lexi Minetree and watching her step into Elle's fabulous shoes has been one of the most gratifying experiences of my career. The series follows a teenage Elle Woods in high school and the life experiences that shaped her into the iconic young woman she is destined to become.
