CBS announced today that Matlock has been renewed for Season 3. The early pickup comes midway through the legal drama's sophomore run, which returns with new episodes on February 26.

Inspired by the classic television series of the same name, the series follows brilliant septuagenarian Madeline Matlock, who has rejoined the workforce after achieving success in her younger years. At her new prestigious law firm, she uses her unassuming demeanor and wily tactics to win cases and expose corruption from within.
