'Chicago Med' Renewed For Season 12

The medical drama will return this fall.

NBC announced today that Chicago Med has been renewed for Season 12. The news comes with six episodes remaining in the medical drama's 11th season, which has been a solid performer in the network's primetime lineup.

While the series is the youngest in the franchise - 2017's 'Chicago Justice' was cancelled after just one season - it has now surpassed a decade on the air.

Chicago Med focuses on the brave team of doctors and nurses who work at a hectic hospital in the Windy City. On a daily basis they tackle unique new cases while dealing with the drama of personal relationships.

NBC renewed the entire 'One Chicago' lineup today, ensuring all three shows in the franchise - Med, Fire and P.D. - will be returning for the 2026-2027 television season this fall.
