In each episode, Donald Trump gives the group of contestants their task for the week. Working in teams, they use their combined book smarts and street smarts to earn the most money or put forth the best product promotion.

After a winning team is chosen, the losing team is sent to the boardroom, where Trump and his associates decide who will be 'fired'.
