A drama following a forensic anthropologist with an uncanny ability to read clues left behind in a victim's bones.

Inspired by real-life forensic anthropologist and novelist Kathy Reichs, Dr. Temperance Brennan is called upon to assist law enforcement with challenging murder investigations when the discovered remains are so badly decomposed or destroyed that the standard identification methods are useless.

Brennan teams with Special Agent Seeley Booth, a former Army sniper who disagrees with the use of science as a primary way to solve crimes. While Brennan and Booth clash both professionally and personally at first, they come to develop a chemistry that grows over time and makes them a formidable team.

I have a gr8 love for 'Bones'. I've watched from the beginning & I'm very invested in the stories & characters in the show. Yes, it has a formula-all shows have 1, but predictable-no way. I have a HUGE PROB w/ppl who don't like a show-watches anyways, but h8s on it, vehemently. Switch the channel. There's plenty of shows out there that match ur TV palate. I think now, that there's enuf Chan's out there in TVLand to appeal to everyone. Just keep changing the Chan's until u find one just for you. I think that 'Bones', has just a mix of difference that it can be watched for many a yr to come. If they can keep the actors happy enuf to stay I'd b willing to bet it could b the longest running show of it's kind. Well, behind the success of L&O shows & it's subsidiaries. But it's even different from any of those shows. But it's my opinion, and u know what they say abt those opinions...

I stopped watching season 7 because it went off track and went way too long for B&B to get together....started watching again and appreciate getting back to and sticking with the heart of the series - a positive team of people working together to solve interesting crimes...with some fun!

Randy it's just a tv show meant for entertainment. If you don't like it don't watch it! Why do you resort to name calling and character bashing? Are you a child who has not yet been taught that these things are not nice? Anyway enough time spent on someone having a childish temper tantrum! I love bones it's very entertaining. To those who don't find it as such why bother having an opinion? It's not like someone is forcing you to watch.

Now that they're married, I still don't understand why she refers to her husband as Booth and him to her as Bones. Come on writers.....get out of the dark ages of this show.

Grea show. Don't even think of cancelling. Too many good show have gone--Necessary Roughness, Those Who Kill,
The Killing, Vegas. Too many good crime shows have gotten the hatchet!

This show is getting to be too predictable:
1. There's a murder.
2. find clues.
3. Who's DNA is it.
4. Question the DNA suspect.
5. It wasn't me, I loved Blah, blah. Go see this person.
6 Repeat #5 five or six times.
7. A bloody object in their car/home gives them away.
8. Wrap it up.
9. Play the credits....END! Same thing next week!

I loved this show in the beginning.. but now it seems so cookie cutter from one episode to the next. All the episodes seem the same. Totally bored with it now... never watch it anymore.

@Randy - Every TV show has plot/reality holes. Even the Perry Mason series had quite a few. They need to change things to sell the story, which is all it is.....a story. Do you really believe there was Little Red Riding Hood or a Rifleman or The Winchester Bros. who track down demons, no they're just stories. Don't be so hyper critical...you'll live longer. If you don't like it...don't watch it.
