A comedy about a petty thief who wins a small lottery jackpot and vows to change his ways.
Upon realizing that he holds a winning lottery ticket, Earl J. Hickey is struck by a car, causing the ticket to blow out of his hand as he lies unconscious in the middle of the street.
While watching television in the hospital on morphine, Earl has an epiphany and decides to turn his life around after he hears about the concept of karma during an episode of Last Call with Carson Daly. After this realization, he sets out to right every wrong he has done to people.

I can't believe the way this show ended, the past three of his shows "The Millers" (2013-14), this show (2005-2009) & Raising Hope (2010-14) were all cancelled, yet no reason was given why for any except "The Millers", saying they didn't have room for it any more. why would you renew a show if you didn't have enough room, My Name is Earl needs to be continued, start a petition! to get more episodes of MNE for a 5th season on Netflix is anything.

Was talking with a good friend today and he's still ticked off that the show was cancelled with a cliff hanger ending. I Miss Crabman and his turtle.

This show was funny and should have continued for many more seasons. If nothing else they should have at least allowed for a final season to reach a conclusion. Watching season after season of a show and having it just end with no conclusion is horrible. Its like watching a movie and missing the ending, but about 10 times worse.

Yeah, it's not like the show promoted a bunch of ugly Southern stereotypes or anything. Oh wait...that's exactly what it did.

They ended the show on a cliff hanger. Just sucks. Wish they would bring it back.
