Richard Castle is a well known murder-mystery author who discovers that a murderer is killing people in the same fashions as described in his books.
Castle has just killed off his main character, however it appears as if one of his fans liked his books a bit too much when the murders are linked back to his novels. After questioning by police, Richard Castle joins forces with Detective Kate Beckett to solve the case.
Finding inspiration from his new partner, he starts to shadow her investigations, where he offers his knowledge to assist in solving other murders in New York City.

I was so worried that Castle was ending but it appears they are coming back next year. So happy, love this show, love the cast. Stories are fantastic, I watch the reruns on A&E also.

I think this show is so unique and it keeps you loving each episode because it's a well written, not like these trashy reality shows. I love the whole cast except Beckett. I loved her at first but now it seems like since she got married she lost interest!!! She is such a cold fish.
I just love Castle, he puts everything he's got into it. You can tell that he enjoys his work but not Beckett. She acts like it's a chore to come to work. Again, excellent writer and well executed. Please Please keep Castle on the air and not cancel it!!

I have to agree with Rebecca - This show is too old, too tired and needs to be put out to pasture. It hasn't junped "THE" shark, it's jumped a pen full of sharks. Seems like they've tried to fix what wasn't broken and in doing so they have irreparably damaged it beyond fixing.

Just watched the first 2 episodes of the new 2015-2016 season... Sad to say it jumped the shark. Same plot theme as the first 5 yrs! Too bad cuz I do luv me some Richard Castle.

CASTLE is beloved by those of us who are "Shippers." The story plot lines are all slightly used, but the chemistry between Rick Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) is wonderfully new and refreshing each week. I am not a Super Shipper (those who wish with all their hearts that Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic would 'couple-up' in real life) but I will follow this show as long as it is on the air.

I just LOOOVE Castle. I have two favorite TV shows. Castle & Madam Secretary. Castle is funny, clever, full of surprises, great acting, great writers and keeps my interest during each episode. Beckett & Castle are a great couple for this show; so glad the writers decided to let them fall in love and marry. Really looking forward to another season of a great show!!!

Castle is the best detective show ever. I love how Alexis always solves castle's cases. For example, whenever Alexis is having a crisis Castle will give her advice and that helps CAstle solve his case or fix things with Beckett. Like in season 2 when Alexis said "why can't they just apologize". this was referring to Owen at the time but Castle was in heat with Beckett because he looked into her mother's murder. The only reason why Castle does not get any awards is because they would win it all. Plain and simple

Just wait, they're planning on making some surprising changes next season and from what I've heard it ain't gonna be for the better, or at least not in my opinion. I've never missed Castle from day one but they're getting overly creative and as I always say "If it ain't broke...don't fix it".
