A drama following a surgeon who questions the meaning of life after he begins seeing his deceased ex-wife.
Michael is a brilliant and charismatic surgeon whose ex-wife has passed away. When she appears to him from the hereafter, Michael starts learning the meaning of life and his place in the world. His work-obsessed and materialistic lifestyle may not be the road he is meant to travel.

Please change the title fix it up but it brought fantastic actors an no trash into out homes.Our family loved it but just found out that there is gone big bummer.

Really wishes this one wasn't cancelled.I really liked it. It seems that there is nothing on for people who don't watch reality tv like me

Hardly ever watch regular tv because it is all reality crap. Usually go through Netflix. Discovered A Gifted Man and loved it. Of course it's cancelled because it is not crap. It is one of the best new shows I have seen in a long time. Logic has left the planet. Good luck with your reality programming garbage, I will not be viewing it.

I tried to like this show, but i kinda didn't get the dynamics, Patric Wilson was to only reason i was giving it a go. Hope he finds a better project. The creepy wify ghost thing just didn't work and the hippy shaman looked like he belonged in another series. The antagonism between the Doc and his sister was interesting but intimately a little too annoying for me. And let's face it that practice he ran, do places like that exist? Most Americans couldn't afford to go there and they rubbed that in your faces lol The other medical centre in da hood, doctors like that don't exist in places like that. It's better this was axed. American's don't know what a good health system is, so they only fantasies about good little Practices on the urban prairie , migrate to Australia or Sewden or Denmark you'll get a decent education as well in the later 2 lol

There are so few decent shows on TV. I find it sinister that this one was cancelled when there are nothing but rave reviews of it from fans. Who exactly ordered this show cancelled and why? I'm wondering what the religious right might have had to say about a show that showed alternative spiritual ideas to theirs. They have lots of money and lots of clout!

I have only just discovered A Gifted Man on Netflix and was looking forward to the continuing story only to find that the show has been cancelled. Why does this happen to the quality shows, well scripted and performed? It would be great if CBS would consider reinstating the series and advertisers remember that people with tastes other than reality shows are purchasers too!!
