A reality series following children in competitive dance along with their mothers.
Dance Moms focuses cameras on children's early steps on the road to stardom - with their doting mothers in tow, who show up for each and every rehearsal and performance.
Dance instructor Abby Lee Miller runs the school and instructs the young and talented dancers, as the spotlight focuses on the highs and lows surrounding competitive dance and the pursuit of national titles.
As hard as it is, the students also must deal with their passionate mothers who will go to any length to help their child's dream come true.

CANCEL IT! I used to watch the show but no more I feel sorry for all the girls even Maddie because while Maddie is all smiles when she wins a loss or mistake brings on almost a nervous breakdown! It's all too much pressure. I had hoped the girls were paid in some way but if not
Why would anyone want to watch these children be subjected to such abuse. For the person who blames Christy, let someone treat your child the way Abby treats chloe and see how you would act! I'm disappointed in the moms especially Holly because she has a PHD and she should know better. I'm sure they are locked in some type of iron clad contract but there is def child abuse by Abby and an unhealthy environment that has to be grounds to break contract, sue Abby and the show so the girls get some compensation for all they have endured. There is no show on the air today that treats children this way and anyone who enjoys this show could really careless about the girls and watch for their own amusement. The only way Dance Moms should continue is if they get rid of Abby and find a teacher who will provide a positive environment for the girls to learn.

I will no longer watch Dance Moms. The girls & mothers are not paid. Even if they were there is no amount of money or fame in this world worth subjecting your children to Abby's verbal and emotional abuse. She has crossed the line. Shame on any parent that would allow their child to be treated like that. I'M DONE!!!!

I am done with Abby...there's a right way and a wrong way to do this business.I saw Paige and Brook's set up coming as soon as the dances were announced...Kelly should have kept her mouth shut, packed their stuff and left before it ever got out of control...I watch to see the girls dance not for all the drama. It's too bad these girls that I love are stuck at the ALDC.I wish them all good luck...I am done!

i loved the show , but after the last one i will not watch the show or the channel. Abby has been borderline abusive for most of show but now she has gone to far with her treatment of the girls . i liked maddie but as the show goes on .i always hope someone else will win. abby needs to show the girls win or lose , its okay as long as you do your best. Chloe is a great dancer ,if she would get all the time devoted to her she would win just as much as Maddie.

I love this show! It's so entertaining and the young dancers are all so talented and graceful. I especially like Brooke; her contortion tricks are incredible, and it'd be amazing to see her in a Cirque show one day.
As long as people watch and the girls want to be on it, please keep this show going!

Christy is always the one that stirs up so much garbage and then acts like she's a poor, innocent, misunderstood victim. They are all disrespectful and they always say they are doing what's best for their kids...well if they hate Abby so much and say how much she mistreats them, then they should all leave. Otherwise, they need to zip it. All that said, don't cancel the show. I love every minute of it.

Kelly keeps complaining,leaving and coming back. What does she think her actions are doing to her girls? Melissa is a back-stabber. Jill is pushy. Christie screams so loud I can't understand what she's saying. Abby isn't fair. I don't trust the new Kristie and her daughter's dancing isn't graceful. She's too rough for my taste. Holly is the only real Lady in the group.
