Falling Skies on TNT: Cancelled or Renewed TV Show Info

A science fiction drama focused on the aftermath of an alien invasion and the resistance movement by the survivors.

Most of the earth has been left unrecognizable and totally incapacitated after an alien invasion. Six months after the attack, groups of survivors have banded together on the outskirts of major cities in an attempt to fight back.

Citizen soldiers are faced with the task of protecting the people while also working as part of a campaign against the occupying aliens, who are highly intelligent and employ military-like tactics. Survivors have categorized these aliens into two types: Skitters and Mechs. Skitters are spider-like and have supreme strength and agility, while Mechs stand upright and shoot bullets from their arms.

Will the surviving humans be able to maintain their humanity in these trying times? They may be outnumbered, but still have their spirit, commitment, and endurance to fight back with.

> Rob : yup, stopped watching it midseason. Will not bother to watch it, unless they kill off 2-3 major bad characters/actors/actresses. Noah Wyle being the top on the list - he is just wrong in this series, which is not helped by the writing of his role. And the "christian found god" actress (bad storyline) and the 08/15 military man played by Will Paton. To think they cancelled the only slightly better Terra Nova but went ahead with this. Both shows had bad writing, but Falling Skies is also a story which we had seen so often, I cannot guess why they are filming it. Nothing new. Glad that there are still a few good series around, no one is forcing us to watch this.

Good character-driven drama but the special effects are weak. Still, way better than watching another "reality" show

We really love this show. With three of our favorite actors - Noah Wyle, Will Patton and Dale Dye, it makes it even better. We can't wait until it comes back on. I wasn't nuts about they season finaly. I didn't care for Wyle going on the ship. But when does this series come back on?

I'm thinking of starting a website called Whyismyshownotcancelled.com and giving Falling Skies top billing. I've wasted my time watching the first series. I won't be tuning in again.
