A crime thriller following a former CIA agent who is hired by a mysterious billionaire who has a state-of-the-art machine that predicts future crime victims.

Reese is a presumed-dead ex-CIA agent who teams up with a mysterious billionaire named Finch. Together they are on a mission to prevent violent crimes using their own brand of justice.

Reese is trained in covert operations and Finch is a software genius who invented a program that uses special pattern recognition to identify people about to be involved in violent crimes. Together, they work outside the law and unravel the mystery of the 'person of interest' and stop each crime before it happens.

Great show! For you Lee Child fans, wouldn't Caviezel make a good Jack Reacher?

The BEST show on television IMO. I just love this show and right up there is Grimm and Alcatraz. At least 2 of the 3 are going to make it another season.

Love this show. Acting is terrific, and I can never figure out how the show will end, which is a real plus.

The people who think this show is fantastic probably don't watch much tv. It frankly isn't a very good show --flat two-dimensional characters, poor suspense-building. too much exposition, talking down to the audience, comic-book the-world-is-saved endings, etc. but it has been improving lately. The actors are great, it's the writing that sort of stinks. Let's hope season 2 gives us more adult-type plots and fewer "who was that masked man" types of endings.

This show is so good that even the network idiots couldn't screw up the decision to renew it for a second season. I see this show having perhaps as long a run as the original "Law & Order." It couldn't happen to a better actor than Jim Caviezel and that is not to denegrate the supporting cast in any way.

Simply the best show on TV. (Glad CBS was smart on this show. (11th Hour was a good show that they gave up on too soon)

The premise of the show is creative and Caviezel is perfect for the part. However, I think Michael Emerson steals the show with his very convincing portrayal of a super nerd. On the other hand Taraji Henson is mis-cast. Her voice is like a munchkin's and her acting very amateurish. Get the actress from "Prime Suspect" for a realistic hard nosed NYC policewoman.
