A crime thriller following a former CIA agent who is hired by a mysterious billionaire who has a state-of-the-art machine that predicts future crime victims.
Reese is a presumed-dead ex-CIA agent who teams up with a mysterious billionaire named Finch. Together they are on a mission to prevent violent crimes using their own brand of justice.
Reese is trained in covert operations and Finch is a software genius who invented a program that uses special pattern recognition to identify people about to be involved in violent crimes. Together, they work outside the law and unravel the mystery of the 'person of interest' and stop each crime before it happens.

This has been a favorite show since the inception. It is very cleaver and well written. Ever since we saw "Angel Eyes" where Jim Caviezel had a part we knew this was a actor who was going to do well. His performance is remarkable since you find yourself rooting for him to get the bad guys and help the people in need of saving. Finch played by Michael Emerson in this last season is now wishing to be loved and be able to have a relationship which I am sure will lead to a more interesting character as he has secrets he has to hide. Taraji P. Henson who plays Carter, seems to have her own possibly of a love interest, but is apprehensive. Kevin Chapman, who plays Fusco is having his own difficulties escaping the group of crime fighters to find time to find love. To have a life aside from crime will prove to be quite challenging in a city of billions especially with John on his heals. Great show, keep up the good work

I love the show and the conspiracy. It needs to have this aspect. I also like it that the people they get #s on could be good or bad and they don't know till they get into their lives - like Eli and Root.

Absolutely love the show, the charscters and 'the machine.' What an awesome concept. Please stay smart and do not sway toward something easy or the norm. One of the most intriguing things about this show is that the main character's mysterious past, even the dog and 'the machine.' I suggest not giving too much of that away, it is a gold mine re: viewers minds, we want to know more but keep us guessing. Must say, is there any better looking, keen, good hearted, quiet superman than Reese (Jim Caviezel)? No!

Person of Interest is one of three shows I would not miss, all 3 shows are on CBS. The entire cast works together beautifully. CBS renew the show for Season 3!

And the mucky mucks were going to cancel this show at the end of last year. Somebody got smart and renewed it.
I am very happy, the last show had Sahah Shahi, Im hope the mucky mucks will realize they have a great addition to the show and keep her. She did a excellent job acting the part of a assian who has no feelings and just does what she is told. Safe to say keep her and the ratings will go up. Let her go, write her out and you will be making the bigest stupid move you did this year. MKL

To the person who said Taraji Henton is not a good actor are you nuts? She is an academy award nominated actress and a darn good one at that. She needs meater parts. i love all the actors.
