A crime thriller following a former CIA agent who is hired by a mysterious billionaire who has a state-of-the-art machine that predicts future crime victims.
Reese is a presumed-dead ex-CIA agent who teams up with a mysterious billionaire named Finch. Together they are on a mission to prevent violent crimes using their own brand of justice.
Reese is trained in covert operations and Finch is a software genius who invented a program that uses special pattern recognition to identify people about to be involved in violent crimes. Together, they work outside the law and unravel the mystery of the 'person of interest' and stop each crime before it happens.

Under no circumstances am I away from my television set Thursday night between 9:00 - and 10:00. I would not take a chance on missing any of the episodes from Person of Interest. This is the best tv show I have ever watched! (I enjoy NCIS, but this tops even that drama!). What an outstanding cast of characters, twisting plots, and a depth to the episodes that does not allow me to run to the kitchen during commercials. I am too fearful of missing even one second of the intriguing drama that plays out each Thursday evening. I have been awed by Jim C. ever since his performance in The Passion of the Christ. What a talented person! Please keep those episodes coming for MANY seasons.

Person of Interest is possibly the best show this past year. Hopefully for the next also.

I just discovered Person of Interest last week. Since then I've gone back and starting watching it from the beginning of Season 1, I'm up to episode 10. Great show and as someone said, it kind of reminds me of Human Target. There aren't many good caliber shows left on TV; I hope CBS keeps this one around for a while.

Absolutely love this show. All the acting is great and the writing is sometimes excellent--I think the episode about the woman doctor was great writing at the end. But one request. . .Puh-leeze lose the dog! Enough of the dripping tongue, already!

One of my Fav show so far. The only thing I dont get is that The Machine is so accurate at picking People in Danger or Danger to others then how come Reece's number never shows up & in every episode he kills a Bad guy. Also noted the Flash back/Flash forward shows year 2016 hope it continues till then. One more thing in the last few seconds the machine make a judgement & displays the reults which goes by very fast it should be slowed down & made bigger so everyone has a chance to read it all. Carter is not really a good actor some tym you can tell shes not really in the groove with the show. Ay way thats just one mans opinion.

One of my favorite shows! I see several seasons on the horizon, as long as viewers with honest (negative/inaccurate) reviews do not prevail!!!

One of the best shows on TV; there aren't many I make sure to watch each week but this is number one on my list.
