A sci-fi drama depicting a time when all life on Earth is on the brink of extinction.
The year is 2149, and it is a time when all life on planet Earth is threatened with extinction. In an attempt to save the human race, scientists create a portal that allows people to time travel back 85 million years.
Groups of settlers travel across this 'temporal doorway' to a place called 'Terra Nova', which is the first human colony on the other side. However, unbeknownst to the settlers is the fact that their colony is in the midst of carnivorous dinosaurs.

Are u serious!!! This show was great, had a nice cast and story line. Fox is completely clueless, how can fringe and bones last longer than this show?? They did the same thing to Dark Angel starring Jessica Alba.

You REALLY need to reconsider!! This was one of those shows my WHOLE family sat down and watched together. We all finally agreed on a show. It was an awesome show, really wish they would bring it back! The story line to the characters it had a little something for everyone.

Why did they cancel this? I agree with you all, either put it back on FOX or sell it to SyFy. SyFy would do a great job with it. I feel no reason to cancel Terra Nova; it was wonderful, the dinosaurs and the plot. Please, bring it back some way!

What is wrong with FOX? This show was Amazing. I loved the romance that was developing between the oldiest daughter and a soldier and I loved the family dynamics going on in this new time. Why did they cancel it? Fox is messing up big time. They need to bring this show back right now and fire all those execs that made the decision to cancel it in the first place because they obviously don't know how to do their jobs. Otherwise let the SyFy channel pick it up. It seriously needs to be on.

Is fox crazy not only Alcatraz but terra nova too. My whole family watched this show it was good for kids. My siblings are 7 and 8 and got too see dinosaurs and science in a fun way that kept their interest. Adult loved it too. Main networks dont do science fiction that offer and this was do e brilliantly. Fox sucks these days. I'm pissed.

What is wrong with fox! I will never watch a show on fox again! Not only have you canceled this show but you've also canceled Alcatraz and The Finder! I am so tired of getting into a show and then having it canceled after the first season! Maybe if you stopped doing that you'd get the ratings that you want, no one wants to watch a show that's just going to get canceled!!!
