A sci-fi drama depicting a time when all life on Earth is on the brink of extinction.
The year is 2149, and it is a time when all life on planet Earth is threatened with extinction. In an attempt to save the human race, scientists create a portal that allows people to time travel back 85 million years.
Groups of settlers travel across this 'temporal doorway' to a place called 'Terra Nova', which is the first human colony on the other side. However, unbeknownst to the settlers is the fact that their colony is in the midst of carnivorous dinosaurs.

Is it me... I' don't know it seems like a lot of net works are screwing up with the good shows. Tara Nova is a show that is best be sold to Syfy. What business is fox doing owning this good show. It seems as if they were trying to compete with other network..aka Syfy by presenting a scifi show. Other networks I can honestly say have drop the ball. Fox is no different. An example of such... Syfy with the shows like stargate altantis, starget universe...etc. After some writters strike it looks like they forgot where they left off.. They "screw the pouch" on that one.

I may never watch another fox show ever! They put on good shows and then keep the pathetic ones and cancel the good ones! I'm DONE With FOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sorry to see this show not coming back....it was good. FOX is the screwiest tv station/network.

Another bad decision by FOX. I am at ther point where I am going to stop watching the FOX network, they cancel all their good shows and don't give them a chance.

Hopefully another network might find this show worth their while....I'm thinking that if I am any indicator the networks need to get rid of shows like secret circle,being human etc..and get back to producing some half decent sci-fi. One of the chanels that I subscribe to Space....I'm thinking of getting rid of it...hardly any space related shows...sick of it.

I'm from Australia and there have been quite a few shows lately that have huge hype surrounding them to get all the attention of viewers and when we finally watch the show and get involved, we find out its cancelled - it sucks big time, why dont you give shows a chance for people to give it high ratings....

Why do these so called "experts" cancel good shows & replace them with crap?? Terra Nova CSI Miami Ringer Secret Circle all gone & for what reason?? Someone please pick these shows up..

I will admit that a person had to disengage the brain and see this simply for it's entertainment value. But, that being said, it was quite entertaining. It had a good back story that I was looking forward to being fully explained. I find more and more that most of the shows I record are the older shows from years ago. Guess I'm just an old fuddy-duddy!!

I hate hate it when my favorite shows are canceled. My mom and I both loved this show and waited for it each week. Bad move Fox. I am thinking the other poster might be right and time to boycott Fox for bad move.
