A supernatural drama following an orphaned teen who discovers she is a witch who holds the key to a battle between good and evil.
Before her mom died, Cassie was your typical teenager. Now orphaned and alone, she moves in with her grandmother who happens to live in the same small town her mother left years ago.
Once there, Cassie stars to realize that the residents appear to know more about her than she does about herself. When unexplainable and frightening things start happening, she comes to find out that her new friends are descended from a line of powerful witches, and they have been waiting for her to complete the 'Secret Circle'.

I don't think this show has found its feet yet. Cassie is kinda plastic, Fay is a cliché -they should give the actress better material to work with, Adam is kinda creepy although I loved the actor as Jon Conner and poor Diana, she always looks like her driver took a wrong turn and she has ended up at the wrong set in the wrong series. And what about that weird ep where Adam and Diana smeared themselves with cream as a prelude to sex I’m no prude but that was just wrong lol Melisa sails through every ep she’s pretty and kinda seems normal. And can someone please tell Chris his character arch cause jake just looks confused.; ALL THE TIME. And why does it always look like it’s winter? I watch this show cause I like the idea of it however it has no edge, the writing is surprisingly good for Teen Wolf and the Vampire Diaries, Secret circle is too generic it's almost like a flash back the the 90's pre Buffy.

I like the subject matter. I do think for high school kids they act more like college people. In fact I wonder why vampire diaries and this show have their kids in high school. they act like the 20 somethings they really are not too innocent like a real high school person that is 16 (no wonder kids act like they do)

What a piece of trash. This show depicts high schoolers that dress like skanks and have sleepovers with their boyfriends. Despicable!

This is truly a magnificent series. It not only Depicts witchcraft, but it has a wonderful plot. BRAVO!!!!

This is my favourite show this fall, love the story, the action and the drama. Alway really looking forward the next episode. It's also really fun because usually I know what I want for a character but with Cassie I'm torn and intruiged at the same time .. guess we'll see. I'm already rooting for a second season!
