I am very disappointed to find out that Alcatraz is canceled. This was one of the very few shows that I looked forward to watching and that kept making me tune in for more! I had a couple of friends that enjoyed this show as well, and we always watched it and raved about the intriguing aspects of the show. I think Fox needs to wake up and realize that there is only so much that one could do with reality television. Alcatraz might have been similar to Lost and therefore it did not appeal to some audiences, but I found that it has so much more to it than others might think (if they are only watching the first couple episodes). I would like to see Alcatraz given another shot. Maybe it's lower ratings was not so much because of people actually "not" liking it, but because it was not advertised as much as it could have been. If there are not enough people that know to tune in, then of course the ratings will not be as high. =(

WTF!!!!!! why get rid of great tv but leave crappy reality tv shows on. Utter stupidity.

Thank God for cancelling such a terrible show! That show had so many flaws and mistakes! Bad actors! Poor writing! The ratings were lower than Terra Nova they replaced! Sweet Karma! And you people wanted this back? NOT!

Alcatraz was a very different show that kept us wondering what was going on and how would they solve the mystery. Always looked forward to the show. Can't believe all the networks that are dumping thought provoking shows for the reality shows. Watched American Idol and also have great time watching good quality dramas.

WHAT A JOKE ANOTHER GREAT SHOW GETS CANCELLED! THIS IS EXACTLY WHY I HESITATE TO WATCH A NEW SHOW. WHENEVER I WASTE MY TIME BY WATCHING A NEW SHOW IT GETS CANCELLED. I WON'T TAKE THE CHANCE OF GIVING UP ONE OF MY REGULARS ANYMORE TO WATCH A NEW SHOW BECAUSE MORE THAN LIKELY IT WILL GET CANCELLED.

Are you serious!! Alcatraz is an amazing show. It seems that every time a show with any substance comes along and we just start to get into it, bam, it is pulled. You need to let them play out a little longer. Everyone is so impatient and who says the ratings are right. In the age of reality shows it is so hard to find a good show with drama and intrigue. Alcatraz had it all plus the scenes of San Francisco and Alcatraz were spectacular. We are sorry hear of this andhope it will be reconsidered. Thank you.

I am not surprised that this show was cancelled. They took a little too long to explain why all of these convicts were running around. I felt no love for any of the characters. While I did enjoy the show, I could not watch one episode without HOPING that the creator did not end the show as he did with the ABC show LOST, where absolutely nothing made sense and nothing was really addressed in the end. I don't think anything from the creator of LOST has a chance of really surviving network television again.

i am sick and tired of watching new series from the start then it gets cancelled crying out load, same with tera nova, whats next for you stupid people.
