A drama where prisoners who mysteriously vanished from Alcatraz decades ago reappear in the present.
Rebecca is a San Francisco police detective who discovers that a fingerprint found on a homicide victim belongs to a former Alcatraz prisoner who died decades in the past.
When she runs into resistance looking into her discovery, Rebecca turns to an expert on Alcatraz prison to help her piece together the mystery that is slowly unraveling.
Their investigation reveals that the prisoner in question is actually still alive and loose on the streets of San Francisco. What's more, is that he may not be the only prisoner from Alcatraz to reappear in the present.

I am getting tired of really getting into a series and then have it canceled. This series was really good and now to find out the one of the important cast members has already taken another role is just devestating. Fox is just dropping in my eyes They just never pay attention to want fans really want.

Nooooo! This is one of the few shows my entire family watched together. Get rid of the reality crap that you have on and put back some good old drams shows. What a waste.

Other comments are in-line with my thinking. The "dumbing down" of America seems to have taken hold of television as well. Shows that call for a little critical thinking and/or intellectual stimulation typically fall by the wayside in favor of yet ANOTHER mindless reality type show. It's a sad commentary on society's values and it deprives us of some truly high-quality programming.

WOW!!! All the shows I see advertised and take the risk of getting into and then fall for get cancelled!!!! Why bother watching anything new? It will just get cancelled too. The River, 9 lives of Chloe King and now Alcatraz. How disappointing!!!!

I am so dissapointed yet another great drama from America being axed we in the UK love your dramas like Flashforward & Tera Nova etc.I hope True Blood,The Walking Dead & Dexter dont get axed.
