A drama following a man caught between two realities.
Since his car accident, detective Michael Britten's mind has created two realities in which his wife survived in one and his son survived in the other. At any given moment, he is not sure if he is awake or asleep - one minute he's awake with his wife, and at the blink of an eye he is awake with his son. With people in both realities assuring him he is not dreaming, he must now try and find out which reality - if any - is real.

Can't believe it, but they've done it again. I really loved this show. I guess I'm gonna turn my tv off go back to reading books, painting and doing my own writing.
The god of the USA is Money. Why make good entertainment when you have crappy reality shows which I don't watch.
I'll miss not watching Awake, but STUPID people will do stupid things. We should all turn our tvs off and see how these A holes like that for a change.

Are all of you people stupid? The show was awesome but they're going to cancel it because nobody watched it. like all good shows that are on television they are based on ratings... commercials... nobody wants to pay to have commercials on the shows that get low ratings.money money money money money that's all television is it's not for entertainment is for producing money. We should consider ourselves lucky if we actually find something on network television that is enjoyable, and if we do, we can pretty much be assured the show will be canceled. In the meantime the majority of the retarded public watch reality shows continued to get ratings and the reason is because people are stupid

Reality Programs are the rule. I never watch them, I loved this show, and a few others that are getting chopped. Program cuts like these reflect the Bully society the media has created - isn't that what those reality shows are about? So sorry to see this one go.

I am very disappointed that Awake is cancelled. I have been sharing with my friends that I have finally found a show that I feel comfortable watching. It has very little profanity, if any. It keeps my guessing, using my brain. I look forward to it each week. I dislike the stupid sitcoms that are on all of the stations. What do we have to do to let the stations know that their are people out here that do like other things beside stupid sitcoms. Thank God GCB finally got cancelled. How disgusing it was on for a year.

Can someone explain why the networks are packed with reality shows and other mindless programs...then cancel an excellent series like "Awake"??! Are they convinced that we're all too stupid or lazy to follow a show that requires a little investment? Loved this series....SO disappointed.
