A drama following a man caught between two realities.
Since his car accident, detective Michael Britten's mind has created two realities in which his wife survived in one and his son survived in the other. At any given moment, he is not sure if he is awake or asleep - one minute he's awake with his wife, and at the blink of an eye he is awake with his son. With people in both realities assuring him he is not dreaming, he must now try and find out which reality - if any - is real.

Quality shows to watch is getting slimmer by the day. I looked forward to watching Awake and Alcatraz. Like everyone else, I will change the channel or eventually stop watching TV all together. Start listening to people and find out what people really enjoy.. Quality viewing that makes you think is quickly disappearing.

You gotta be kidding me, finaly a show comes along that has a great plot and story line, aswell as makes you think, and you go and cancel it !!! what are you gonna replace it with? more talentless ppl thinking they have talent!!.

Good shows get cancelled. Why not? It would be silly to keep a good show when you can have something really stupid like another UNreality show.

You're telling me Grimm gets a 2nd season but Awake doesn't don't get me wrong Grimm is a decent show but, Awake was easily twice if not three times the quality of acting and the story was very intriguing and intelligent. Very very disappointing...

Really???? Cancelled?? Who makes these decisions? Certainly no-one who really is in touch with their consumer. This was an excellent show in all aspects including writing and acting. It was thought provoking and intelligent. I refuse to feel helpless as idiots make these decisions. I'll just watch another network.
