A drama following a man caught between two realities.
Since his car accident, detective Michael Britten's mind has created two realities in which his wife survived in one and his son survived in the other. At any given moment, he is not sure if he is awake or asleep - one minute he's awake with his wife, and at the blink of an eye he is awake with his son. With people in both realities assuring him he is not dreaming, he must now try and find out which reality - if any - is real.

Do you guys know off hand how Netflix,Hulu and these other providers work, Im not from or in the States hence my Screen Name and not sure how it works. as i Download the shows, Probably not the best way to add to the ratings but then again I would not even count as I am an international viewer and we dont matter much to the execs there.

I would just like to point out that I started watching awake on hulu and I LOVED IT. I really wish that networks would take TIVO, DVR, and the internet into consideration when they view ratings. Hardly anyone watches tv "live" anymore because we have crap to do. But everyone (or at least I do) gets caught up on episodes on days off.

tv supposed to make you want to watch there shows, make you wait for every thursday at 10:00pm.
This is what i have been doing since this show came on, thanks nbc for making my thursday nights open again. Love the acting and love the show, they should have no problem finding another smart channel to sign them:(

I just started watching this show through hulu. When I first heard about it I wasn’t excited but when I began watching I was hooked!!! I wish Netflix would pick up Awake! I hear they are interested in picking up cancelled shows – fingers crossed!

I cannot believe AWAKE is being canceled. I should have known that a show where you have to do a little thinking would be canceled. It's obvious most people like dumb comedies and dumb reality shows. That's why our country is in such a mess!!!

Stop dumbing down America with "twit" t.v. shows and cancelling a thought provoking one...is looking at someone's else's misspent life so "DAMN" important
