I, too, really like this show. What I don't like, is ABC toying with viewers. Just like in the grocery store, when you've found a particular item that you really like and they delete it, canceling one of the FEW prime-time shows I watch will REALLY TICK ME OFF!!! I'm just sayin'....

Love this show! Really hope it stays on the air. Seems like all good shows get canned, and all the crappy ones stay.

really very much a prime time 'soap opera' but also very entertaining. If real, some good voices as well.

Not really a show that I wanted to watch due to it being promoted everywhere but I did just to see for myself and was surprised how good the duets and the male talent on this show are(although the girls hold their own too, the guys I feel are just a bit more "polished?"). I am not a country fan but I really like the music on the show. I say all that to say I heard ABC is gonna pull the plug. To this I say "Really ABC? Have you even made back the money you spent saturating the market on promo's- maybe you should just give it a chance -I did."

I basically began hating country music right as it lost its soul in the late late 70's, to that 1980's juggernaut called NEW COUNTRY, but all's well right now with me and country music - and that's because of NASHVILLE the series. Of course, the show benefits from the music to a degree, but I suppose it is possible that many new artists(and even new music STYLES)out there could benefit from the show "showcasing" their songs on various episodes as well. I would have never heard the song "No One Will Ever Love You" if it had only been released as a single on the radio for example, since I don't listen to the radio anymore. Because of the show, I'd easily pay full price for an expensive 2-cd set just for that one song, even if there wasn't another good one on it. There are other good songs however, and I certainly hope that the series will continue for many seasons - so that I can get both my NASHVILLE soap-opera fix and my return to country music fix as well.
