A musical drama following the creation of a new Broadway show.
In Smash, a writing duo come up with the idea to base a new stage show on Marilyn Monroe. In competition for the role of the iconic lead are an experienced chorus girl and a promising newcomer.

So gutted, I loved this show so gutted it has been cancelled, the cast was so unbelievable and written so well, the songs and the cast were magical! What a shame x

A one in a million show that was beyond awesome. It wasnt cheap crap thats on now a days. Maybe it should have been advertised correctly like they do this other crap. Best Show in a super long time. Will miss it a good while! Superb writing and acting!!

Why is it every show I watch gets cancelled? Smash was a great show with a lot of talent. What is wrong with NBC Executives? Instead they produce garbage programming. I am so upset. They cancelled "Who Do you Think you are" also. I wish another network would pick up this Smash show. There is nothing to watch on television much anymore.

I AM IN SHOCK!! I LOVED, LOVED this show.....I did not miss not even one show....I loved all the dancing and the singing and of course all the drama!! I hope with all the good comments they reconsider.....please bring the show back!!

I am still so annoyed that this show had never been picked back up our picked up by another network. This was such am AWESOME show!!! I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE TO SEE THIS SHOW RETURN.
