MAD AS HELL that NBC cancelled Smash! It was a brilliant show and the only one that I've ever seen that tackled the world of Broadway Theatre. I realize that it was an expensive show to produce, but it DID have a loyal audience. NBC lost it though when they did a late start on the season premiere and moved it from Monday to Tuesday night. Then they moved it to Saturday!!! Now the finale is on a freakin' Sunday!! How is anyone supposed to know when to find the show? Shame on you NBC. You broke a LOT of hearts when you cancelled this one.

Bring back Smash! I love the show and have even bought the music. I'm sooooo disappointed to see it go.

Finially a show on television embracing the arts, inspiring young singers, dancers & actors. A show that is real in it's depiction of the "art" of show business and then the plug is pulled. To be replaced with some ridiculous "reality" show or celebrity diving, dancing, hoarding, hunting show. Or a police, doctor, CSI show. The ratings on SMASH fell because it was moved to the doomed Saturday night timeslot. If NBC really cared about the show they would have nurtured it's timeslot. Apparently Speilberg is losing his clout in the entertainment world.

Thoroughly disappointed that NBC has cancelled a show that had actual acting & singing talent. Smash took us behind the Broadway curtains and let us in...if only to jerk us back into the cheap seats! Hopefully this show is picked up somewhere else - so deserves to be seen.

It was a sad day when we heard the news about NBC cancelling SMASH. I realize that there is some innate expenses in producing a show of this magnitude, I also understand that you want a return on that investment....but a show of this quality will produce LONGTERM reward for your investment, but it will mean sticking with it until the payoff comes.
Story lines that have intrigue and innovation. Characters that continue to evolve. Music and performances that surpass other "music-centered" shows.
Please allow me to encourage you to stay with SMASH for at least a couple more seasons. Her audience is steadily growing and will become your sleeper hit over time. The best years are ahead, and WOW what a cheer for the bankroll that will follow!!

We are SO disappointed that NBC did not renew SMASH! It's our favorite show! Can't believe we won't get to see these characters anymore or see the even greater potential of this show. Very sad :(

NBC has made some pretty bad decisions regarding shows over the past past couple years I've noticed. I hope they have fun losing even more viewers.

NBC did admirable job creating and promoting Smash during the first season. Unfortunately, this was not true during the second season. I love the show for its storyline, acting, and overall quality, just like I love Downton Abbey and other shows of that ilk. Please consider giving it another season or selling it to a network that will give it another chance.

SMASH is the best thing that have come on the air in such a long time. Original music, quality actors and great script writing. When something as original as this gets cancelled you wonder why there are so many idiots out there because they have nothing else to watch except not-so-real reality shows, dating shows and more CSIs at every corner of the country. There's no creativity anymore! C''mon people let's bring back SMASH!!!
