A drama following a rancher tasked with restoring order to 1960's Las Vegas.
Inspired by the true story of former Sheriff Ralph Lamb, Vegas follows a fourth-generation rancher tasked with bringing order to Las Vegas in the 1960s, when the city was emerging a gambling and entertainment mecca.
Ralph Lamb just wants to run his ranch in peace, but Las Vegas is a fast-growing city, swelling with outsiders and corruption which intrude on his simple life. When the mayor comes to Lamb for help, recalling his command as a military police officer during World War II, Lamb takes the job of Sheriff and clashes with Vincent Savino, a ruthless big city gangster with his own agenda for Las Vegas.
Now these two powerful men engage in a ferocious battle for control of the budding desert oasis.

I can't believe CBS would drop a show as good as Vegas. The show is great and all the characters are great too! Shame on you CBS- Hope another network picks it up!!!!!And then you go and change the day and time of Hawaii five-o!!!!! what's up??? somebody is screwing up royally at this network!!!!

I watch very little TV but Vegas is one of the ones I enjoy the most and actually know when it's on.......that's really too bad and I hope someone else will pick it up.

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH EVERYBODY ELSE THEY CANCEL ALL THE GOOD SHOWS AND KEEP THE ONES THAT WE COULD DO WITHOUT LIKE SURVIVOR AND AMAZING RACE THEY R REALLY THE DUMBEST SHOWS THEY COULD EVER PUT ON THE AIR BRING BACK VEGAS AND RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

I hope another network picks it up. It's like family guy it went to 2 or 3 different networks before cartoon channel brought it back. I hope maybe FX wil take it and make it big like justified. I loved this show. Please please bring it back some how.

This is a VERY VERY good show!! Why do the good shows always get canceled?? If you keep canceling these good shows without giving it a real chance, good actors like Dennis Q. aren't going to take TV roles anymore!!

Of all the crappy shows that stay on TV. You take off Vegas!! A GREAT SHOW!! What ,, there wasn't enough sex and violence for the viewers??? That is really a shame. ;-((
