A drama following a rancher tasked with restoring order to 1960's Las Vegas.
Inspired by the true story of former Sheriff Ralph Lamb, Vegas follows a fourth-generation rancher tasked with bringing order to Las Vegas in the 1960s, when the city was emerging a gambling and entertainment mecca.
Ralph Lamb just wants to run his ranch in peace, but Las Vegas is a fast-growing city, swelling with outsiders and corruption which intrude on his simple life. When the mayor comes to Lamb for help, recalling his command as a military police officer during World War II, Lamb takes the job of Sheriff and clashes with Vincent Savino, a ruthless big city gangster with his own agenda for Las Vegas.
Now these two powerful men engage in a ferocious battle for control of the budding desert oasis.

This show reminds me of when I started going to Vegas. Women were in high heels, hats and nice dresses. Men were in a suit and tie. Look at how times change. Women walk the strip in a swim suit so small It bairly covers the necesities. Men in shorts tank tops., What goes to Vegas stayes in Vegas. I really hope they keep this show for a long time. It reminds me of what used to be and I like it. MKL

Please keep this gem alive. It's got so much going for it, give it a chance. We hate to get involved in any series anymore because they always cancel our faves. No more reality junk, give us things with plots and heroes. We've watched Human Target, Dirty Sexy Money, Men in Trees, Cane, Surface, Men from Mars every week when on, then all go down the drain, with NO ENDING. At least when you cancel can't you wind it up somehow so we aren't left hanging??? I really hate being left in the dark every time.

Love this show! Your taking all the good ones off the air and we're stuck with "Reality shows"? Give us real entertainment, please keep Vegas a live!!!
