A drama following a rancher tasked with restoring order to 1960's Las Vegas.
Inspired by the true story of former Sheriff Ralph Lamb, Vegas follows a fourth-generation rancher tasked with bringing order to Las Vegas in the 1960s, when the city was emerging a gambling and entertainment mecca.
Ralph Lamb just wants to run his ranch in peace, but Las Vegas is a fast-growing city, swelling with outsiders and corruption which intrude on his simple life. When the mayor comes to Lamb for help, recalling his command as a military police officer during World War II, Lamb takes the job of Sheriff and clashes with Vincent Savino, a ruthless big city gangster with his own agenda for Las Vegas.
Now these two powerful men engage in a ferocious battle for control of the budding desert oasis.

Please Do Not Cancel Vegas! I also am a Baby Boomer as my Husband. There is very little on tv now that is worth watching. Golden Boy is a Big Let Down compared to Vegas. Please do not cancel Vegas.

I love everything about this show, from the actors, to the story lines, to the clothes, and cars for that era. This is a great show.

Really miss Vegas! Golden Boy sucks, not nearly as good as Vegas. Hope Vegas returns soon, as there is a gaping hole in Tuesday night now.

I am 30 yrs old and I watch so please don't cancel because their are no young viewers! I gave cbs a shot with a new show which is not a courtesy I extend to 4,5,& 7 anymore because of their high percentage of dramas being cancelled. I primarly watch premium channels and cable channels for dramas. Cancel Vegas or CSI:NY and I'm gone for good! I predict in three years CBS will hit the downfall that 4,5,&7 have suffered after they cancel high rated shows to make room for cheap pilots!

So reading other coments Golden Boy is in the time slot now. That sucks. We are the bread and butter for all tv networks and their high mucky muck, over paid pampered leaders. We need to be catered to, respected, kept up to date as to what is happeniing. I am pissed beyond words and have been so for a long time. No respect to the public watching their channels.

I am out of country and pick up vegas another way but nothing since feb19th. Hope some mucky muck has not canceled it. If they have held it back for two weeks that will hurt their ratings. Regular watchers might find something else and not check for it's return MKL

Please do not cancell this show. I am a Baby boomer as is my husband. Been watching TV a long time. I hate all the crap on TV: but this is a wonderful show and we look forward to it. Who in the hell judges what stays on and what goes off. Get some new glasses: better yet a new BRAIN
