A drama following a rancher tasked with restoring order to 1960's Las Vegas.
Inspired by the true story of former Sheriff Ralph Lamb, Vegas follows a fourth-generation rancher tasked with bringing order to Las Vegas in the 1960s, when the city was emerging a gambling and entertainment mecca.
Ralph Lamb just wants to run his ranch in peace, but Las Vegas is a fast-growing city, swelling with outsiders and corruption which intrude on his simple life. When the mayor comes to Lamb for help, recalling his command as a military police officer during World War II, Lamb takes the job of Sheriff and clashes with Vincent Savino, a ruthless big city gangster with his own agenda for Las Vegas.
Now these two powerful men engage in a ferocious battle for control of the budding desert oasis.

Never should have cancelled! I shouldn't be surprised, though, that they keep the reality crap and cancel good shows!

Vegas was one of our favorite TV shows and we always looked forward to the next episode. The actors were great, especially Dennis Quaid, and the story line was interesting and captivating. We are so tired of the stupid reality shows and 30-minute sitcoms. Please, please bring back Vegas! We loved that show and are sad it was cancelled. Please reconsider!!

How could CBS cancel the greatest Television Show of all time. I'm hopeing that TBS or TNT will take a chance with this distinctively different Drama. Dennis Quaid and Mike Chiklas are probably the two greatest Actors of all time.

Why would they cancel Vegas? It was such a good show and so different. I never missed an episode. The actors/actresses were awesome. Take off all those horrible reality shows and bring back Vegas. There are too many good shows that they've cancelled, but they keep the horrible ones that aren't worth watching.

I'm so disappointed that this show has been cancelled. The acting was high quality and the story line interesting. It was different from everything else out there. Please reconsider.

Every week I was looking forward to VEGAS. This is crazy - replaced it with Robin Williams - his jokes are so old (70s-80s?)and still the same - absolutely annoying. I really miss VEGAS!!!!!!

Miss Vegas!!! Please bring it back! There aren't many shows out there that I watch, and Vegas was on the top of my list. Please rethink pulling the plug!

Didn't watch the show when it was airing, not that it would matter since I'm not a US native, but it's well acted, fleshed out characters, and interesting storylines. It's a shame it got cancelled, but it didn't end too badly regarding loose ends.

Well CBS has done it again. There was a time when everyting I watched was on CBS. I really enjoyed Vegas. Now I have switched to ABC and the cable networks. I cannot stomach another stupid reality show.

What! when I didn't see in the list of new seasons I decided to come here to check it out. Why did they cancel the show. I really enjoyed it. This is why i don't watch shit on channel 2 other than the Amazing Race. They always cancel good shows and put on a crap show in it's place.. I'm done!
