A drama following a rancher tasked with restoring order to 1960's Las Vegas.
Inspired by the true story of former Sheriff Ralph Lamb, Vegas follows a fourth-generation rancher tasked with bringing order to Las Vegas in the 1960s, when the city was emerging a gambling and entertainment mecca.
Ralph Lamb just wants to run his ranch in peace, but Las Vegas is a fast-growing city, swelling with outsiders and corruption which intrude on his simple life. When the mayor comes to Lamb for help, recalling his command as a military police officer during World War II, Lamb takes the job of Sheriff and clashes with Vincent Savino, a ruthless big city gangster with his own agenda for Las Vegas.
Now these two powerful men engage in a ferocious battle for control of the budding desert oasis.

This was a great show with developing characters. I will miss Sarah Jones, she was great in that role. What makes a good show ? Bring it back.

Vegas- has at the very least some real? People- most shows now are unreal imagine-ation - Vegas was-is a Great show one of the only ones that I looked forward to seeing every week -- then they moved it?? whats with that -- now its gone??? I don't think they even wanted this show to make it - Way too much power- do they even talk to the real people in this country?

Now I know why nearly everyone I know is canceling their tv providers and just watching Netflix or Hulu....anything good gets cancelled if its not these crap reality shows that are 100% NOT reality...if you want good tv and did it on today's tv you can bet t will cancelled. This is why all my friends are going to straight Netflix etc...to be able to actually watch good tv again. Had a buddy et called to show some stuff for hardcore pawn when producers heard what memorabilia he had...he didnt want to sell and had no want to go to a pawn store but did it for the producers, didnt sell either but the fake scenario made tv! Stop with the reality junk and keep good series like Vegas... Big mistake CBS... Please rethink

I cannot believe you are canceling this show. It is great. It is right up there with Blue Bloods, Mike and Molly, NCIS. We love watching this show.

You said it, above... The networks do not employ anyone willing to program for intelligent, decent people who just want to be entertained without watching scripted, pretend drama and giant a$$es without talent. My family is so very disappointed.
