A drama following a rancher tasked with restoring order to 1960's Las Vegas.
Inspired by the true story of former Sheriff Ralph Lamb, Vegas follows a fourth-generation rancher tasked with bringing order to Las Vegas in the 1960s, when the city was emerging a gambling and entertainment mecca.
Ralph Lamb just wants to run his ranch in peace, but Las Vegas is a fast-growing city, swelling with outsiders and corruption which intrude on his simple life. When the mayor comes to Lamb for help, recalling his command as a military police officer during World War II, Lamb takes the job of Sheriff and clashes with Vincent Savino, a ruthless big city gangster with his own agenda for Las Vegas.
Now these two powerful men engage in a ferocious battle for control of the budding desert oasis.

Just as Vegas starts to get really good they cancel it. Believable characters and developed story lines, what makes a show worth keeping on the air? Does this show have no audience?

If Lucy, Cosby or Home Improvement came out today, They would be cancelled within a few weeks. Is it any wonder why most people today choose not to watch TV? Reality shows just don't cut it for viewers with IQ's above 10.

You are so STUPID if you knew a good show it would bite you in the butt. CBS sucks. You want Survivor and Big brother etc. keep your channel wish I could get rid of it. However, won't be watching CBS anymore not worth getting invested in a series and you chuck it. Done!!!!!!

My husband and I have been bragging on this show since it started. It has the best and brightest of everything! This show has captured the 60's so well, that it seems like someone went back in a time machine for the clothes, the sets...everything.

Wow, CBS cancelled Vegas. I guess they rather get ready for survivor Iraq or Big brother 69. I'm done with CBS to bad I can't cancel it from my cable provider 😄
