A sci-fi drama set in a border town on Earth in 2046.
In the year 2046, Earth has changed. There are now a multitude of alien races living on the planet, and the landscape has been terraformed beyond recognition. In the border town of Defiance - formerly St. Louis - events start to occur that threaten the fragile peace this town and its residents have fought for.

I am sorry but not enough explanation was forthcoming about the characters, so you have no idea how all these different aliens came about, nor what actually happened to Earth. Dont bother with another season, I'm afraid this is rubbish.

I am trying to imagine greater. Instead I got Eureka 2.0. Defiance like Eureka is a story of a lawman who stops in a town in need of a cop. He has his daughter in tow as they planned to travel elsewhere but stayed in the new city. Yup, SyFy did a remake of Euraka because the story plot is a good one. I really hope people who really love science fiction some day will prevail at SyFy and make it a real beacon for the genre.
