Way to complicated and drawn out! My hubby watches and I watch occasionally and i have lost the plot totally which means its too plot is too complicated! Personally I wouldn't mind if this one didn't come back! !

Hostages is the best show EVER! It has been something to look forward to every week, and I will miss it!!!! The storyline may have been difficult to continue for long, but I was so hoping it would go on longer than it has. I LOVE IT! Great cast--Toni Collette has always been a favorite of mine. It was a great show!!!!!

I have watched every episode. It's getting way drawn out, it's getting slow, hope there will be a real ending soon. Please don't go for another season, I can't handle this anymore, worse than LOST!

Things that just don't make sense. I have been an admirer of Toni Collette for years - but in this episode, "Loose Ends," when she finds out Morgan's bf has been SHOT TO DEATH, she barely reacts, and then we see her in the next scene, arm around her daughter, and soooooo understatedly saying, "I'm so sorry." That whole thing with a dead bf in her home, is so fraught with crazy-ness, her emotions, which she seems to have in COMPLETE CONTROL, should have skyrocketed. NUTSO. Maybe they just didn't give her more in the script. Well, fight for it Toni. I am just seriously not thrilled. Toni,,,,,I expect MORE from you.

Some shows are never going to get the high expected ratings networks sponsors demand. Unfortunately this show requires you to watch every week which is a major no no in tv. Hawaii-Five O didn't require to watch every week, sure you might be missing something small but wouldn't stop someone from watching if they were busy last week. I love dramas as much as the next person but I'm willing to admit I stop watching if I miss an episode because I didn't get a chance to dvr it, and can't watch the episode online or on demand. 4,5,7 & 9 you should leave the ongoing dramas to networks that can run reruns and encores like FX, AMC, Lifetime, TNT, USA. Stop wasting everyones time!

It was my hope for this season-wonderful cast-anxious plot-I have cancelled it from my DVR as a season pass. Not what I had hoped it would be.

I agree with "roj". How can they remain hostages for an entire season or more? They would spend every episode trying to escape and be constantly stymied. The frustration for the audience would be unbearable.

If this show is intended as a four episode miniseries, it will be a success. If it is intended as a multi-season effort, it is doomed to abject failure because the premise, like so many shows of late (witness last year's Last Resort) is not sustainable. The end.

Pilot is intriguing. Makes you see one situation through the eyes of many different people. A good show. Won't last long. Destined to be replaced with another "hilarious reality" show.
