I have truly enjoyed the series, Marc, and look forward to hearing about what's next in your career. Au revoir!

Marc sent this out today and says the series is done.
So, it is so, People.
This week the final two episodes of my series ‘Maron’ air on IFC. I love this season. Hell, I love all of them. I want you all to be the first to know that what I have been hinting at is true. I’ve decided this will be the last season of the show. It ends in the right place and I feel like it is whole and finished. I’m sorry if you are disappointed but I don’t want to keep doing them just because I can and to just churn out content. I like the show. I don’t want it to become ‘content.’ Most of the time content is another word for garbage. It’s a word invented by tech suits to be condescending to the work of creative people in order to accommodate their need for garbage that fuels their media wasteland.
Anyway, I loved working with all the people involved with the show and IFC gave us a lot of creative freedom. It's just time to stop because… it’s done. Complete. La commedia è finita!
