A series set as a prequel to Sex and the City.
The Carrie Diaries follows Carrie Bradshaw - best known from Sex and the City - back when she was a high school student in 1984. Her mother has died, her younger sister is rebelling, and her father now has the responsibility of having to care for his two daughters on his own.
Carrie is in her junior year and interning at a law office, all while exploring life in New York City.

Please don't cancel it, as a fan of Carrie watching her in SATC I always wondered why she never had any contact with her mother, father or if she every had family at all since she never spoke of them. This new spin off is giving some insight to those questions I always wondered about Carrie Bradshaws life. Just keep it interesting and have tyke writing focus more on her as why and how she has grown into whom she became and why and the show should hold a descent interest of people. I love she even keeps the writing aspect of the show, makes me want to see her journey unfold a she becomes successful.

I love this show. As a fan of "Sex in the City" this was a great spin off. I love all the fashion do's and don'ts of the '80s. I even found my husband watching with me one day. Great show please don't cancel it!
