A sci-fi drama based on the Stephen King novel of the same name.
In the near future, the residents of Chester's Mill find themselves cut off from the rest of the world when a mysterious, impenetrable barrier surrounds their town. While panic fills the streets, a small group of people attempt to maintain order and uncover the truth behind the phenomenon - including how to escape from it.

People are just been modest. This show is crap, whether you read the book or not. There's a lot of shows that came from awesome novels and ended up been silly.. Under the dome is one of those. Yep Simpsons much better lol.

If any of you jack holes read the book, you would know how good it is. The acting stinks but it is still a decent show

Anyone who thinks this show is stupid IS stupid. With all the bull on t.v. (and YES I absolutely mean GLEE) this show is at the very least interesting. And to the morons who said the acting is bad, have you watched a t.v. lately??? The acting is right on par with what is on t.v. now....

The show is based on the Stephen Kind novel. Actually follows fairly close. Don't know how they are going to make this a continuous series, but I am glad they are. And since the novel came out first, I highly doubt the intelligence of the person that says it rips off the Simpsons.

I.P. Freely - if you actually watched the show you would know that you cannot just dig under it, duh. I think they would have done so if it were possible. Maybe if you weren't pissing into the wind you would know this.

I think it is one of the better shows I have seen in a long time, I can't wait to see the show.
