A comedy following a grown-up Cory and Topanga raising their teenage daughter.
A sequel to the 1990s ABC TGIF comedy "Boy Meets World", this series follows Corey and Topanga's daughter Riley Matthews. She attends Manhattan's John Quincy Adams Middle School, where Corey is Riley's History teacher.
Riley and her best friend, Maya, do their best to navigate all the twists and turns that come along with growing up into the teenage years.

I'm a kid who watches this show and I have to agree with others it's very fictional and I think abc should have covered it because as said before they are very limited with what they can do but don't get me wrong I love the show it's really good but just not realistic

You're all a bunch of babies. It's a Disney channel show! Of course they're gonna sugarcoat the issues. Every show on Disney is a super bad depiction of real life. If you're watching Disney channel to get an accurate depiction of real life then you're in for a rude awakening. Just enjoy it for what it is. I do and I like it.

I agree with GMWSucks long message above. I was a great fan of the BMW show and I think overall good cast for GMW, however, I don't think the show is intentionally too soft. Its mean flaw is that it is on Disney channel. BMW was on ABC.... GMW caters to a younger audience and being Disney they certainly are very limited in what they can cover. That said, great cast only problem is the softness and fiction. It mislead kids to a fictitious reality. Everyone is friendly, everyone gets along, everyone supports one another, respects one another, love one another.....Riley and Maya get away with pretty much everything, including talking in class, lol.....I agree with all that is said....The show is not even compatible with what goes on in schools ! FARKLE is respected and loved by 2 popuular girls ? LOL......IN real life kids like Farkle get bullied, dissed, ignored... The show depicts the complete opposite of what f*cked up society we live in. Girls are certainly not as nice and caring as the show depicts. More like evil, condescending, disrespectful, arrogant, slutty generation !
If you want a show that depicts real world, then BOSTON PUBLIC series was one of the best ones on TV at the time, it was down to earth and covered the REAL issues with society and kids, not the ficticious "niceness" crap.
Today's reality:
* Sex
* Drugs
* Violence
* Self image
* Populairty
* Bullying
* Shootings
* Gangs
* Defying authority and parents
and the list goes on and on........
None of the sh*t will ever be covered in GMW, so long as it is on Disney.

Is the show canceled or not........
It was officially renewed yet, but ratings have been declining. Season 2 was a quick renewal, but season 3 on the bubble....... I predict that there will be a season 3 but probably will be the last season if ratings keep declining, ratings are not spectacular but might be just enough to keep it on Disney
Sadly, unlike BMW, GMW is a soft verson that does not deal with the real issues of life and its challenges, it is too soft and problems get resolved way too easily and always ends well.........
kids are stealing, killing, having sex, doing drugs, and acting like adults nowadays, why the F do we have to have tv shows that completly mislead and don't depict the real world........These producers and network execs want to play it safe.........and put their heads in the sand.

When I heard GMW was coming out I was so excited, and scare at the same time, I supposed that maybe this show will ruin the perfect memories I have from BMW, it was my favorite show, and fortunately they did a great job with GMW. I believe GMW keep the essence of BMW and definitely love the flash backs, I know that BMW was really special for me, and I´m glad that Disney decide to bring us GMW for this generation, and the 90 kids like me that even we are all grown up we still enjoy it. Remembering is living. Please don´t cancelled this show.

This show sucks. I'm in middle school and honestly NONE of the things in this show happen in real life. Don't get me wrong. I loved BMW because it had real life problems. Not some 12 year old girl who trys to be popular, goes to a party and then ends up being a harajuku girl. Seriously, this actually happened. In another episode Farkle is in a debate club. Cory literally says that there is only one debate left in the season. All of a sudden Lucas joins the club. As far as I know if you missed the audition you can't get in a club. This show has so many flaws that I can't just let pass. Cory is a horrible teacher. Riley and Maya talk nonstop in his class and he doesn't do anything about it. Lucas brought a horse in the school, Riley and Maya sneak out to go to a COLLEGE party, Riley becomes goth in an episode, everyone has to listen to Rileys/Mayas problems (which are not even serious problems) and they never learn, and Riley always tries to fix a problem (or just creates one). And if I had a daughter I wouldn't want her to go to school alone on a train. I don't care that she has a friend who thinks she's tough. It deserves to be cancelled. If you can't find a good director/writer and good actors, don't try to make a spinoff based on a great show.

I love Sabina carpent . she is my favorite actress. you and rowan Blanchard like just like Shawn and Corry in boy met boys world . I think Peyton Mayer is hot
