My daughter and I loved BMW and thought we would give this a try. The first episode was annoying...the kids cannot act and the character of Farkle is horrible. Why do Disney shows have to have a character like this on every show? We tried the 2nd and just could not make it past the first 5 min...so disappointed because BMW was such a classic. We have just gone back to watching reruns of BMW.

I LOVED Boy Meets World, and I like this one too, but so far not as much. My concern is that a lot of what made BMW so great was not just the heart but it tackled a lot of issues, there were some really serious hard moments and scenes, most of them surrounding Shawn's family and home life, they dealt with the death of Mr. Turner, the financial struggles of a middle class family, the time Corey let the whole school think he slept with Topanga, young marriage and a myriad of other topics. My concern is that they won't really be able to approach heavier subject matter on the Disney channel. I think at some point they would have to move to at least ABCFamily or ABC in order to execute stories regarding a lot of the issues young people deal with today.

Yeah that's cool and all but Disney rarely leaves a show on 4 seasons. I'll be watching other shows

I'm glad it got renwed for nostalgia's sake. The pilot was a little stiff but I think its getting better as the series continues.

The show is doing great and does have the heart of BMW. There is something lacking when it comes to feeling the acting though. Over time it will get MUCH better. I remember when Charlie Sheen took over on Spin City and it was terrible for the first season he was on, but the actors learned to mesh and it was hilarious from that point on. Give it more time and it will be awesome!

I wanted to like this show, seeing as how I was a fan of Boy Meets World growing up. This show didn't have any of the charm as its predecessor and the acting abilities of the kids is almost non-existent, especially that farkle kid. All the child actors involved are nothing but try-hards.
