As a former Intelligence Officer I found this show thrilling and suspenseful. It's rare that an actor can pull off this kind of constant drama/action without a hitch. My family and friends looked forward to watching every week. One of the very few shows that we watched religiously. We will be profoundly disappointed if it isn't renewed.

I find State of Affairs more entertaining and realistic than Madam Secretary and her miscasts (apart from herself, her hubby and herassistant); M S family melodrama appeals more to the Y&R crowd. There is an appetite/audience for the inside the beltway/spy genre that SoA portrays, but unfortunately this does not have the majority rating that the network demands. If you cancel this show I will find it hard to trust the overhyped pre sells of upcoming series. Please do not revert to the highest common rating as a guide, or you may have to revert to the thin gruel of endless sit coms with laugh tapes. SoA is current, well acted and entertaining, please continue to the next season.

I really like this show. The production values are top-notch, with Heigl and Woodard turning in excellent performances. In praise of the writers, the storyline is very good with few, if any, "holes."
Don't know if the rumors about Heigl being difficult to work with are true or not, but if they are this show might not make it to the second season. However, high Nielsen ratings would make working with Heigl worth the Network's time, but the show started at a 2.2 and went to a 1 for it's season finale. Shame. It's a good show.

this is one of the best series on TV. Both my husband and I really enjoy this series and can't wait for next show to air! You people are doing a injustice to viewers if you cancel deities. Katherine Heigl is a talented actress who is believable doing comedy or extreme drama!!!!!!!
It will be a shame f this series is taken off the Season 2 lineup!!

I liked Heigl and her team.
The story had suspense.
The poor part was the President, not credible at all.
I would watch a second season with pleasure.
