It's 10/17/24 as I just barely watched S1E5. I'm having a hard time concentrating on this show, but generally like Krysten Ritter in the role. I recently subscribed to Disney+, where I'm watching, and still never subscribed to Netflix, where I understand Jessica Jones used to be located. I'm not sure if I'll get through all 13 episodes of S1, which means I'll not get to The Defenders or S2, and S3.
Sorry, I'm very late to this "party".
(Just get to the mind-control-badguy and eliminate him sooner, but alas, there is no next time. I'm not comic reader and have not previously even heard of Jessica Jones and why she's an alcoholic P.I. as there wasn't much back story until now.

Rachel Taylor is by far the better actress here. They should have given her Jessica Jones and Krysten Ritter the role of Trish ... then reduce the amount of screen time they have for that part. She is really not a very good actress at all.

This one is fantastic, mesmerising. She's no Star Trek ultra-sane babe, a bit churlish noir. But she's a perfect example of twisted normal under those circumstances.

Moved very slowly. Have to agree with Amado, Jessica acted like a child most of the show. "I don't need help" "You can't tell me what to do" "YOU JUST DONT UNDERSTAND ME" The show was seriously just missing the scenes where she cut herself. Also, how many people died in her vain attempt to prove ONE girls innocence. The needs of the one out weight the needs of everyone else? Kilgrave was the only thing that stood out of all the tween angst and he was only one with real childhood problems. 4/10

This was a very hard show for me to watch. I guess because I'm old school super hero person. Could not watch some of the show because it was stupid. For starters the same clothes everyday even after having sex with someone the same dirty dengie jeans that have not seen water since it was discovered . Give me a break. And the dumb decisions that she was making drove me crazy. The hole series was poorly written. What up with the liquor. I know she was an alcoholic but give me a break. As much as she drank, she be lucky to get up every morning. The show sucks i gave it a one star. What a waste of time.

Awesome show in my opinion. No doubt in my mind that this will get picked up for season 2 - at least I hope so. Krysten Ritter! Who knew?
