Dr. Beaumont Rosewood is Miami's top private pathologist who performs for-hire autopsies in his sophisticated lab. He is enlisted by the Miami Police Department to help solve some of their most challenging cases by utilizing his abilities to uncover clues that others don't see.

I really like the show. Yes, his mom is a tad bit over the top, but whose mom isn't. When Columbo and Quincy were on people said they would not last. Forensics is the new buzz now in crime drama.

There are simply no new ideas. They try to rehash and rework what has already worked. I see some of the fan fiction that is out there and I can't help but think those may be some ideas that could assist the dry spell that is going on.
