A suspense drama following a team of elite negotiators who handle conflict and hostage situations.
Eric Beaumont is a veteran crisis and hostage negotiator whose team is tasked with resolving some of the most difficult kidnap and ransom cases.
Eric and his team use their insight into human behavior to resolve these intense situations while refusing to resort to violence no matter the stakes.
But while Eric's manipulation mastery makes him the best at his job, it also has the side effect of complicating his relationships with friends, family, and colleagues.

I guess I'm alone in this one. I liked it, but I generally like procedurals. They take no major investment of time so I don't have to watch every one. I leave it up to the ptb to find a way to keep them interesting which is especially difficult in shows like Ransom, Bull, or Conviction since (especially the 1st 2) the outcome seems predetermined. Great acting isn't as necessary in episodics- for me anyway.... All of that said, airing on Sat. makes the fate of this show obvious from the start.

Hostage negotiation or rescue dramas: gigantic yawns.
Just endless yakking, ransom demand phone calls, stakeouts, money drops, cowering hostages, crazy baddies.
It's like spending an hour pulling out a splinter.

This will be awful Sarah Greene as about as much acting ability as a spider she should just play corpses in CSI prodrams
