An action comedy based on the comic book character of the same name.
In a world where superheroes have been around for years, an accountant with mental health issues begins to suspect his city is owned by a global super villain who is believed to be dead.
Wanting to uncover the conspiracy, he teams up with a nearly-invulnerable superhero in a blue costume named The Tick, and together they work together to combat crime and uncover the mysterious figure behind the city's underworld.

I am so sad to see this show go. Amazon has done by far the best version I've ever seen! But I have discovered that this show requires a certain esoteric intelligence to really appreciate the humor. Ironically that makes those of us who really like it a minority. One by one it seems that Amazon Prime is eliminating the main reasons I pay for my subscription.

I was amazed how much I liked this show, but it was really really good. I'm disappointed to see it was cancelled.

I had a feeling this show would not last long. As much as I love the cartoon, I never felt a live action version would do that well. It is sad though. Something tells me that someone else will try to rebirth this show again.

Honestly I wasn't interested in it once I saw the casting. I love the comics and the cartoon. I think that Patrick Warburton was a smart casting choice for the previous live action adaptation given his build and his amazing voice - to me the fault was more in the writing for it not having quite the same soul as the cartoon and comics. While Peter Serafinowicz is a great comedic actor-seriously I've loved him in so many other things, I just don't find him suited for the role. The muscular tick costume looks weird on him and I just couldn't even get through episode one, honestly. It just didn't feel right.... So I'm sorry for the cast and crew and new fans and the concept, but I'm kinda glad to let this revival die.

This show is much better than the last version from 2002. One of the reasons for this is the huge leap in technology in cgi from that era. Both versions are much like the comic books though. Silly but mirroring a wacky version of d.c comics world. This one moves fast and is well worth watching, Check it out. amazon.com has renewed it, which is better than what happened to the 2002 version , which had only season.
