A drama following two teens who are burdened with new superpowers while falling in love.
Set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this drama follows the lives of two teenagers named Tandy and Tyrone. While they come from very different backgrounds, they are awakened to newfound superpowers that mysteriously link them to each other.
Tandy is able to emit light daggers, while Tyrone can engulf others in darkness. It isn't long before the two realize they are better together than apart, and their romantic feelings for each other make their lives more challenging.

I love me some music, but the pilot had 9 songs! Talk about overkill. The last episode (5) had still 7 songs.

C&D trying to establish a footprint, straying too far from origin story. Origin is better and more intriguing. Thus far C&D extremely slow to establish characters. Storyline and storytelling is weak. Please stop with the unnecessary flashbacks as it does not enhance the experience(feels as if they're trying to make up/ cover up lackluster writing). Come on people be better than this!

Part of me wishes a different network had picked up Cloak and Dagger. Their original story was much darker then the way FreeForm is portraying it so far. It is possible that it could still go that way but judging from the first two episodes I don't think so. There are plenty of other super heroes they could have picked if they were looking for something family friendly.

I like cloak but can't really get into the actress that plays dagger. This show feel similar to Impulse that is also just starting on Youtube Red and I think it is a much better show than this. Overall I will watch a few more episodes to see if it will grow on me...
